Not having a sleep timer for audiobooks, I've never tried to use one to lull me to sleep. Regular books seem to do that fine most nights, as the combination of lying down and reading seems to work well.

On the other side of the equation, I wish I could get an alarm clock that played the commercials of a certain lawyer in our area. They could wake the dead.
