Maybe you can return it and get another one? I've never tried to return a Kindle First book, so I don't know if you could get another one.

I used to hate present tense with the passion of a thousand suns until I started reading more young adult. Even then, at first, I would try to avoid the present tense ones. But I guess I got used to it somehow. I'm still confused by how that happened. :P Maybe because it's so bloody common in YA.

Now reading something written in second person... Still a struggle. Book: "You woke up after the party and..." Me: "No, not me! I'm sitting here in the B&N wondering why you wrote this dang thing in second person."
