Which was splendid. I might have also read it around the time I bought it.
An excellent near-future alien 'invasion' story, although, as the characters note, there must be some reason behind the way the aliens are doing things, as if they wanted to just wipe out humanity, that's easy. I wonder if there's a sequel.
