Ran across this freebie just a while ago. It's Crushes, Blushes and Friends Forever, in the "Best Friends' Club" series. All that I have been able to find is a pdf-format version, but I'll do some more looking around.

I unapologetically know nothing about teenage girls' books. I don't know if the text is identical or not, but an edition of a later date (2009) garners a 4-star rating at Amazon, but from only 1 review. At GoodReads, however, there are 20 ratings, with a 3.95 average rating (that's very good at GoodReads).

Here's a brief book description, in case you want to read a little about the book before mentioning it to your teenybopper daughter or whoevever. This is from GoodReads (a book description at Amazon is basically non-existent), and again is for the 2009 edition:
The BFC is all about being friends forever, but it's not always easy. Can Aliesha and Noelle's sisterly bond survive the test of Noelle's new crush? Or will Aliesha's jealousy finally break the BFC?
