Oddly enough I found that same exception this afternoon while testing the pre-alpha version of CC that uses the new Android compatibility stuff. The problem arises because of the order of some checks. If CC checks for a valid language before the database has been set up it tosses that exception. Installing and running the previous beta set up the database so that the "bad" beta didn't fail.

I will be making a new release of CC V4 sometime in the next few days. This will probably be the last V4 release, and also the last release that supports Gingerbread and Honeycomb.
