Really? I could swear that I've seen folks around here saying to convert PDF to ePUB (or...?) with the big C. No? Sorry, then, jimdays, I didn't mean to lead you astray, I really didn't.

Yeah, I'm with you there. We push quite hard, when PDFs come in, to get the source docs (INDD, Word, etc.), because pretty much,
anything is better than PDF. Well...that's unfair. I've received files made into PDF with some of those online Publishing programs--you know, the drag-drop things--and those I don't blame on Adobe. Those I blame on the creators (of the web-based software, I mean). And of course, we've had scads of imaged-PDFs, not searchable. OY!!
