About 10-11 years ago a PC friend sent me the 1st Kate book. I HATED it!! But over time when I got the ereader I kept picking up a ebook here ebook there Free of cheep.. So one day I decided for lack of fresh reading books to re-read book 1...still hated it. But decided to try book 2 then 3 then 4 before I knew it I read the Whole Kate series except the Last! Nope not going to read it thanks to the reviews posted on Amazon!
Anyway Telling some one that IF you hate the 1st book ... Well I think the Rest are Great! But without the 1st book you do loose background on the story line.
