Sounds to be like you want to look into an Android reader, Onyx makes some & IIRC Boyue, where you can install Android apps to read your stuff. That way you can use the Kindle app where wanted and other apps when needs dictate. Be sure to check to see how well certain apps work on eInk before committing though.
