My experience is that my friend gets an email telling her she is invited to shop at KOBO. My friend then went to KOBO to buy a book. She did not apply any coupons though. She can see the -$5 on the first screen of the payment process. only 1 out of 8 friends were successful. The other 7 experienced the above.

Despite this, a few of my friends made a purchase anyway. The Get $10 program for referring a new friend who makes a purchase states allow 8 business days for the credit. It has been more than 8 days and no credit.
