What is surprising is that they needed your reader and case back to see the problem. It's obvious that the cover will press the buttons by examining any reader/cover.

To my mind they have designed to cover to be as slim as possible. The reader should fit deeper onto the cover so that the cover edge is higher than the top of the buttons, not just above the edge of the reader case.

In your case it seem to be the left-hand side buttons that get pressed, in mine it is the right-hand side ones, which is why mine sometimes exits the book.

I had to laugh at their reply to you on their own forum that the problem came with you closing the case with your left hand - talk about clutching at straws.

I'm wondering if anyone makes a case for the device under the Boyue or other brand name.

P.S. Looked on AliExpress and the Boyue covers there seem to be identical with the Energy Sistems ones. Looks like ES just buy in a generic cover from a Chinese manufacturer and have no control over its design. I think as you mention the only answer will be some form of stick-on buffer.
