yes, the shadows are one of the best things about it.
another is sometimes it makes rainbow reflections. and as you can see in the third photo, if you just give it a little spin it can substitude advantageously for a disco ball.

most of them had labels, they were mostly internet cds or music cds i didn't want to keep.
