One thing that I notice is that I see some very odd behavior while iBooks is doing it's house keeping. Some of that is over 2500 books, but it's a problem that iBooks has had for a number of years. Hopefully, once all the house keeping gets done, everything will clear up.

The big reason that I moved to Marvin was because of it's ability to keep more or less in sync with Calibre, both the books, the meta data, the categories and the percentage read. It was a bit quirky how it worked, but it was workable. Once that stopped working, Marvin wasn't quite as useful as before.

While there are some features that I wish iBooks had, I plan to take a close look at it again now that it can sync books and categories over multiple platforms.
