Could be. The Case of the Velvet Claws is only $5.99 at Amazon.

Brat Farrar by Josephine Tey is $11.99. CRussel has informed me that I was looking at the wrong version. That's the price of the hardback. The Kindle version is $2.99. Sorry for the misinformation.
