Okay, I think I understand now what you're saying. I was browing through the conversion window and saw an option for "Preserve Aspect Ratio" on the Epub Output section.

So if I understand correctly, if a book used this option when converting to Epub (or an equivalent option if the epub was not created using Calibre), then when resizing the viewer the cover aspect ratio will be preserved. Otherwise, it will not. Correct?

If only I'd known about this option before converting my 3,000-book library.

Anyone know of an easy way to set this option quickly in all my books without having to reconvert?
