The last ebook I did for the MR library had 302 end notes. And (perhaps with practice) I could make them work on all of my ebook devices including Kobo Glo. I think the key solution is to use a stylus, and learn what force and location works for each reader.

I set the link at 75% of the font size, and put the end note number in square brackets.
