And how often does this happen (2 or more footnotes together)? Does Adobe (assuming it is a RMDSK problem) really think it happens often enough to justify the current solution?

I just tried my Sony 650, and it has the same problem (both EPub and LRF). So, thank you Kobo (Access?) for providing a superior solution with kepubs.
