I loaded some new books on my Kobo Touch (Firmware version 1.9.17) via Calibre but the books don't show (although can be seen in Windows Explorer on PC). The Kobo has "processed content" three times taking forever, but fails to find the books.
I've seen a suggestion that I should sign out of the Kobo (via settings/account), but mine simply says "signed in as
a@b.com" and gives no option to sign out when it's not connected to a PC.
Do I need to be connected via the Kobo app to sign out? If so how, because it only has a black screen saying "connected"?
Once I manage to sign out and back in, I understand that the Kobo will recreate its database from the existing files without the need to reload them - is that right? I used the Calibre Kobo Utilities plugin to check the database, but it's reported as OK. The utilities give an error message if I try to compress the database.
