Restarted windows a few times and Calibre is working good.
(Your wording makes me think this is you only computer.)
W10 is nice with exceptions.

IMHO Do check out the limitations (what you will lose) before you go that route. My Laptop is staying at W7 because some stuff I use in the field is not compatible or M$ removed that feature.
