On behalf of your Reader (hey, I'm freezing my circuits off here!), I humbly request that you consider a more temperate location for your Reader. Does your nightstand have a drawer? Perhaps you could create a warm little nest in the drawer, lined with a t-shirt, socks, and maybe a spare wool sweater.
