Hello,
I have used Calibre for years now without any troubles, but am now facing a situation I have never experienced before. After updating from version 2.47 to 2.48 I can no longer use Calibre as intended, as it constantly crashes. Although I still manage to launch the programme, it freezes as soon as I perform simple tasks like adding a book to my library and then crashes. Viewing a book is possible though and the library maintenance check showed no errors in the library database.
Updating to version 2.49, repair install as well as a complete removal (including the library folder) and new install have not solved the problem for me. The programme crashes the second I try to add a new book to the library.
Here's the debug log

Interestingly, the above mentioned problem does not occur with Calibre Portable. My backed-up library works perfectly on my USB-drive.
Any ideas what I could do?
