I want to thank everyone for replying altho` some of the contributions e.g. from susan cassidy and FizzyWater and statements like 13 out of 14 people know about DRM raises questions.
I (ignorant as I may be) knew nothing about DRMs . My local library was happy to make thousands of free ebooks available to me. There was also many free sites doing this. Now I find it is whispered about and not paying for all your boooks and their DRMs is like some antisocial misbehavior.
But I`m learning and love my Kobo
