Jon: Not going to happen. Personally, I think it's pointless. Either the book has been started and possibly finished, hence values filled, or it hasn't, hence not filled. I don't consider "On the device and not started" as a special state different to "Not on the device and not started".

If this was done using the columns being used by the plugin that means using giving a value a special meaning. That is never a good idea. And as Terisa said, doesn't work well.

Add in the fact that the Reading List plugin already does this, and does it well, it is not something I want to implement at all.
