As for the the OLED display, it's an interesting technology, but from what I saw last time I checked it, it's too expensive. I'd be willing to pay 5000$ for a monitor that solves all my problem, but I'd have to be sure it works before buying it. The problem is that it takes me hours, even days to confirm whether a solution helps or not. For instance, I bought a privacy filter, and for 24h, it felt like It helped. The next day, I found out it didn't really.

Hi Eturgeon,
You said in one of your posts that you no longer had the problem you mentioned initially and could now use normal LCD screens (I think the comment was removed because you were offering to sell the Dasung, so I couldn't reply to it directly). Just wondered what you did/how you managed to solve it? I also have problems using any kind of monitor, especially when I have to read a lot of text. I don't have the problem with paper books or ebook readers. I could and sometimes do read on these all day without any complaints, so I know it must be to do with backlit screens.
I'm currently working as a translator, but at the moment I literally can't do more than 4-5 hours per day, with plenty of break in between, and even this is difficult. I've already ordered a Dasung monitor and have high hopes for it, but it would be great finding a solution to the problem in general as an e-ink device will obviously never be ideal.
