Can't read on my phone either, unless I absolutely have to. Sucks about your Kindle, but in a way I do enjoy the excitement being forced to choose a new device when an old one fails

I'm 4 "books" into my challenge (75 for the year) already, but as 3 are short stories and the other a short novel (average page length of 72 overall) I'm not in any position to gloat. I have set myself a sub-challenge of a 300 page average by the end of the year, just so I don't get too complacent.
