What do you mean, "immediately"? CC "talks" to the GP store only when connecting as a wireless device. If that fails then CC reports "unlicensed".

If you send me a debug log I might be able to tell what it is doing. See http://cc_faq.multipie.co.uk/index.php?solution_id=1068.

BTW: what method are you using to install GP. There are several. Perhaps one of these might work better? this one and this one.

Finally, as you said that you would be open to buying another license, can you install the Amazon app store? I now keep the CC Amazon version fully synced with the GP version, which resolves the largest complaint with CC on Amazon.
