I watched the pilot episode of Shannara there and I'm not sure what I think of the show honestly, I didn't dislike it but it did seem like it was made more for teenagers.
As for the expanse show I keep seeing certain posters running around Reddit trying desperately to make people think it's the best Sci Fi show ever with the best effects ever but personally I didn't like the books much and I can't get into the show because the audios actually terrible enough I can't even make out the dialogue.
