Just finished this last night. It was a very interesting window into one of the lesser known eastern religions. It was nice to read the history behind some of Japan's most recognizable features like the temples and the large red gates (torii gates). It was also interesting to see how occupation post-World War II changed the way the religion was run.

Not sure what's next, but likely something from my fiction shelf.
