Chloe stood up and went to the bathroom. Peter made sure no one was looking and took out a small packet. He opened the packet and took out a small pill. He broke it and a powdery substance escaped the pill and he poured it into Chloe’s wine.
The poison was not fast acting. Peter had done his research. It would kick in hours later when they were both sleeping soundly in that awful apartment with Poff. From there he could easily make it look like Chloe died in her sleep. Peter left no stone unturned. He was careful to check the substance and this was the right poison for the job. He had read that it would leave no trace in the body when someone ingested it making it untraceable to modern forensic methods.
“Thank God for the internet. What would I do without it?” Peter whispered.
He patted himself on the back and whistled. He had to give himself some credit here. He was proud of his handiwork and he was glad that he had a lot of brain matter inside his head.
“Peter Bryan you are a certified genius. No one could have planned this so brilliantly but yourself.” he thought to yourself.
