@Mondriaan - I'm not 100% certain (because I have never had one in my hands), but a disk drive attached to a router suggests to me that it's a network drive, essentially the router is a linux server.; calibre is not supported on network drives or servers.

See I am getting errors with my calibre library on a networked drive/NAS?
