I read "Midnight ..." when it came out in '77. It moved fast and (at the time) I found parts difficult to follow and wound up re-reading a few sections, but liked it. Over the years it would cross my mind, but I never got around to re-reading the whole book. Recently I decided to give it another go -- in fact, I wound up buying it a few weeks ago.
