In my household, decorations come down on the evening of the 5th January. (Since the Christmas holiday really follows the Jolder custom of days being counted from sunset to sunset, rather than from midnight to midnight.)
I'm not consistent, however. In my household we always have present giving and opening on the morning of Christmas Day, not on Christmas Eve (i.e. the evening before Christmas Day) as some households (including the British Royals) do.
