A couple things:

1. Your use of the -bpc option needs a space between "-bpc" and the value, e.g. "-bpc 1" instead of "-bpc1".

2. The -bpc option is not compatible with the -jpg option. If you use the -jpg option to save the bitmaps as JPEG, the -bpc option is ignored. So you need to pick one or the other. I need to make this more clear in the documentation.

A JPEG quality factor of 10 seems pretty low, but as long as you find it tolerable, then that's fine.
