Hmmmm . . . . on one of the first few pages, it says that the book is copyright 2015 by James Henry Breasted. That would be a little difficult for Breasted to do, seeing that he died in 1935. The book was first published in 1921, so it should be in the public domain. Maybe the 2015 copyright was by Amulet Press (the publisher of this edition) on the work that they did in the reprint of Breasted's book.

Breasted was a renowned Egyptologist in the late 1800's/early 1900's. He wrote quite a few books, mostly about Egypt.

While the book is in the public domain and you can find other editions than this one scattered over the Internet, this freebie has at least one advantage over some of them: this one has a clickable table of contents. The book's a keeper for me.

I am not familiar with Amulet Press, so I'm going to do some research on them. Maybe I can find some other freebies from them.
