So just to be clear, Amazon never actully specified that your device would be affected?
Because while it is entirely comprehensible that you might not be able to continue using a closed account in tandem with your device (that is a matter of pure
deduction), your original wording made it sound as though Amazon said the connected device would be rendered forever useless to anyone.
i.e. remotely bricked.
Which I felt surely could not be the case.
