By default, you are automatically subscribed to any thread that you start or comment in. And if you want to keep track of responses to a thread, you should make sure you are subscribed to that thread.
There is no special forum for "things that petercreasey is interested in".
Keeping your threads in the Deals forum means everyone who tracks the Deals forum has to read your responses -- which is also
unfortunate!
If you want to discuss MobileRead policy, we have a Feedback forum.
Since you are (or should be) subscribed to this thread, you will undoubtedly still see responses even once this thread is moved there. But just in case, you can check your subscribed threads on your
User Control Panel.
