The Golden Compass here. I've listened to it, but this would give me a great excuse to read it as well. For those who like to listen to audio books, it's very well read by the Author with a full cast supporting. I'm not normally a fan of authors reading their own works, but Philip Pullman does a superb job. And this is an excellent read, so I'd definitely recommend it. (Audible link for those interested:
