If your Device is "Paperwhite", why are you posting an Aura H20 question? It reads like a calibre question anyway.

With KOReader on my Aura HD, I place calibre content, from the server, onto my external uSD card. I mount my mmt/sd as read/write when I launch KOReader from KSM.

You should be able to set calibre to use a folder on your device's external uSD card, but for wireless, you need your device to establish a download folder.
