Swedish mobile accounts pretty much don't have data caps (and if they do, they mostly only rate limit until the end of the month you after you hit it, you don't get shut off.) My mobile acct actually does, but it's a super cheap one. We don't have "minutes" and we don't pay for incoming calls or texts, and free Wi-Fi is abundant, particularly in the cities. My kids provider doesn't even count streaming music against your data usage, that's free.

Which is to say, needing to be connected to stream audio is really a non-issue here.

The elib app is pretty nice on my pc, but the android app is a bit of a beast. It works well enough once going but you have to go through a web browser to borrow the book, and that starts the app, which is ok on my tablet, but no fun on a phone screen. The sound quality is good though. Elibs biggest problem is it's search engine is horrible, and the choice is really quite limited.
