Following first five steps in Explorer both files were there.
Removed plugins from Calibre, files missing from Explorer after refresh.
Re-installed plugins, files there after refresh with 22/12/2015 as date of files.
Open Calibre, Writer at 2.5.3 Reader at 2.4.2
