Very enlightening. Thanks.
I knew that there must be a reason for using "university" adjectivally with "college," but I didn't know what it was. I was surprised that I had not heard of the University College and the University College Library before, given their prestige. I've learned a lot just from preparation for making posts of books on Mobileread! That's not to mention the enlightening comments that people sometimes make after I've made the posts.
One thing that I've learned is what a wealth--numerically and qualitatively--of museums that there are in London. It doesn't seem quite fair! (ha) With 14 million (I'm going by memory here) people, however, it should have a lot! But London still seems to have much more than its "share." I have not visited London yet, but I can see where I could easily spend
weeks just visiting museums to see stuff that I want to see. Maybe one of these days . . . .
