Yes unfortunatly they do have to stay separate. One is a US account, audiobooks I get for review have to be from.com. The other two are my Amazon Audible account, which is no longer used for purchases, and my Username account which I use for my current subscription.

I actually have a 4th account which Audible just recently located for me when they were looking for missing books, that is a legacy username account with a dozen titles on it.

This is why I've moved from a Kindle Fire to an iPad for my audiobooks, I just wondered if Android had anything comparable to iBooks.
