And in my first post to this thread (post #6) I explicitly said Amazon does not accept EPUB and as a result people using calibre's email feature should mark their @kindle.com email address as accepting only MOBI.
Later on in post #11 you made an EPUB and tested it.

Your idle time is your own to spend. And I can't fault anyone for wanting to see something with their own eyes, I often do the same.

Although a lot of people seem to think your reaction does not mesh well with the posting guidelines re: rudeness.
I don't know why you seem to feel that there is any need for offense to be taken, by anyone. I don't see anything even remotely objectionable with HarryT's post -- he simply told you that other people here have done the same experiments, and gotten the same results.
