Not only my kobo can put them at the bottom of the page, but they are ON the text and make it difficult to read the last four letter of the line they're on. And playing with the size of the text or the margins doesn't work. I'm totally confused.
I didn't find the option in the parameter or the solution in the thread using the search engine.

This is a Kobo setting. Go to Reading settings, and uncheck "Show Adobe EPUB page numbers"
