Well, I got two books at the Audible sale and if I'm honest, I have to admit that the sale created the want. Good thing I don't count audiobooks! (They're not a big problem, actually.)

My biggest problem lately, oddly enough, has been pbooks and my 2016 resolves mostly concern them. I hope Paul doesn't mind my mentioning them here. My resolution is to buy none at all in the first six months of 2016.

That said, I recognize the lurking problem with ebooks. I congratulate myself that I've got that licked and in truth, I mostly have. I make only the occasional odd purchase, absent a Kobopalooza. But the reality is that while I'll have read roughly 140 books this year, given that some are pbooks or library books or public domain and many are audiobooks which I count as "read," it doesn't take that many purchases for my TBR to climb instead of to shrink. I'm not at the point where I'm up to a dread day of reckoning and the pbooks are the more pressing problem anyway, since they take up physical space. Thus I have to keep in mind that I can only make the extremely rare ebook purchase if I'm ever to shrink my virtual mountain.
