Electronics has a "The Market" in the exact same way vehicles have a "The Market."

For decades automakers in the United States pushed the notion that "The Market" just wanted huge muscle cars...until the Japanese offered fuel efficient cars designed to last 250,000 to 300,000 miles. It turned out that there was a diverse marketplace, not a "The Market" and long lasting cars sole alongside the gas guzzlers.

We have seen the same thing with phones. Now there are tiny clamshell phones and seven inch phablets. One does not negate the other.

Yes there is a market for thin and light tablets. Nothing I posted denied that. That does not mean there is not also a market for more robust units.
