The pencil, for now, only works with the iPad Pro. I suspect that, as future versions of the smaller pads come out, they will be compatible with the pencil, but then I can't really predict the future, so what I suspect could be crap.

I'll tell you, the way it works on the iPad Pro makes me positively giddy. It is perfect for taking notes, and for drawing and painting. I am such a happy camper. No regrets for having bought it.

The one thing that I immediately noticed was missing was a place to actually put the pencil. I ended up making my own lanyard sheath case, which came out looking pretty damn good, and works well. Otherwise, I would be worried about putting it down somewhere and forgetting where I put it. (Which happens a lot at my age.)
