Forget You by Parker Blue (ISFDB) is a prequel short story which slots in at the #4.5 mark in her Demon Underground series of YA urban fantasy novels starring a half-demon bounty hunter in a vampire-infested city, which explains some events which took place 5 years before the start of the series, involving the family backstory of another half-demon character who apparently later becomes one of the lead's love interests, free courtesy of publisher Bell Bridge Books.
