Bite Me by Parker Blue (ISFDB) is the 1st novel in her Demon Underground series of YA urban fantasy novels starring a Buffy-esque half-demon bounty hunter in a vampire-infested city who eventually goes up against other half-demons since apparently the demons secretly rule everything, this installment setting up the main character and her world, free courtesy of publisher Bell Bridge Books.

This has previously been offered free at least 3 times, back in 2010 and 2011, when affiliate links were still allowed in the main Deals forum, and we've gotten a few of the sequels as well, so it's nice to see it pop up again in case you missed this one back then and wanted to start at the beginning. Apparently it's being made free again to promote the recently-released 6th in series, which, incidentally, is couponable at Kobo as are the rest of BBB's catalogue.

San Antonio's vampires are out of control, and it's up to Val, her faithful hellhound Fang, and her new partner, a handsome San Antonio police detective, to get the deadly fangbangers off the city streets. Soon enough she finds herself deep in the underbelly of the city, discovering the secrets of the Demon Underground and fighting to save those she loves. Whether they love her back or not.
