Does Calibre Companion support SNI (Server Name Indication)?
Does Calibre Companion currently support SNI? If you are not familiar SNI (Server Name Indication) it is an extension the TLS protocol that allows you to do name based virtual hosting of HTTPS sites using a single IP. Without it you are only able to do this by hosting one HTTPS site per IP address, which is not possible if you can't easily obtain IP extra IP address such as a home internet connection. It requires client side support however. All the major browsers have supported it for several years. Most Android apps seem to support it as well. However, when I tested a few years ago Calibre Companion did not. I was wondering is this cahnged and if not when support was planned as SNI is becoming much more common.
