I do own several of them.

I just looked at the Mayberry Cookbooks. I own them.
They are not full of cream of soup. Matter of fact there is only one entree with a can of mushroom soup.
The people that commented obviously just looked at a few dips.
Though I will agree that most of the recipes are simple and can generally be found in any southern cookbook.
LOL. I have the Mayberry Dessert book and I must have hit that one recipe when viewing the main book sample. Got it for my sister, anyway, as she is a big fan of the show.

I did get the Blue Willow Inn Bible for myself, and a couple of others that had a few interesting looking recipes I could see in the print samples.
